Hello again, it's me, Jon. A quick update on Valerie. She had her transplant operation earlier today, and almost as soon as they put in her new heart, it started beating on it's own! The team of doctors were very picky with what heart they accepted for her and it looks VERY strong! She is now in ICU recovering and they will be waking her up tomorrow. All accounts are that she is doing even better than they had hoped. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, and while she is not completely out of the woods, everything is pointing to complete success!
